Bangkok International Motor Show 2025 (BIMS)
As one of the Southeast Asian countries with the highest motorcycle ownership (over 20 million registered vehicles), Thailand’s traditional fuel-powered motorcycle market is rapidly transitioning to new energy. During the exhibition, the Aulion team observed that the Thai government is driving the adoption of electric motorcycles through policies such as tax incentives (e.g., a 50% reduction in electric vehicle purchase taxes) and investments in charging infrastructure (with plans to add 5,000 new charging stations by 2025). These measures align closely with the “Carbon Neutrality 2030” goal emphasized by local media, prompting multiple outlets to feature Aulion’s products in dedicated reports highlighting their long-range capabilities and low-carbon technologies.
More About Moto Show
The success of this exhibition has not only unlocked access to Thailand’s electric motorcycle market, valued at over $5 billion annually, but also extended Aulion’s influence across ASEAN nations like Malaysia and Vietnam through media exposure and ecosystem partnerships. Moving forward, the company plans to leverage its upcoming manufacturing base in Thailand (scheduled for operation in 2026) to achieve regionalized supply chains, further solidifying its market leadership.

Smart City & Green Mobility
At the “Smart City & Green Mobility” forum held during the event, Aulion showcased its waterproof battery technology tailored to Southeast Asia’s hot and rainy climate, as well as battery-swapping solutions designed for food delivery and ride-sharing scenarios. These innovations attracted significant attention from platform operators such as Grab Thailand and Foodpanda. Notably, 30% of on-site inquiries came from municipal transportation authorities, underscoring government recognition of electric motorcycles’ role in urban emission reduction.
